From rivals to teammates, Bulls' Nikola Vucevic, Andre Drummond double their connection

Nikola Vucevic and Andre Drummond did not have double-doubles in the Chicago Bulls' thrilling road win over the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night.

Vucevic missed two rebound, ending his six-game streak with one. Drummond averages 13.2 minutes per game but has two double-doubles this season.

Actually, both centres have already had a double-double twice this season in the same game, both wins.

Double-doubles occurred during previous All-Star games for Drummond with the Detroit Pistons and Vucevic  with the Orlando Magic.

Vooch was like a black sheep, so guarding him was fun. He was one of the few bigs who shot jumpshots, 3s, and midrange, Drummond said.

I liked playing against him as I had to prepare differently since he wasn't a rolling big.

The offensive glass rebounding matchups were tough. It was hard to keep him off. It was like me holding him off and someone else taking it.
