In each of their last three games, the Colts activated running back Tyler Goodson from the practice squad; however, on Tuesday, they revealed a new development involving him.
Goodson was signed by the Colts to the 53-man roster as he could not rejoin the practice squad without risking waivers. During his first two games of the season,
Goodson played nine offensive snaps and caught three catches for nine yards; however, he experienced an increase in playing time following Zack Moss' injury against the Steelers last Saturday.
With a total of 11 carries for 69 yards and two receptions for 10 yards, Goodson contributed to Indianapolis' victory by a score of 30-13.
Trey Sermon and Goodson played together last week, and if Moss and Jonathan Taylor are not cleared to play this Saturday against the Falcons, they might be in the lead.
Zach McCloud, Jaydon Mickens, and Juwann Winfree replaced guard Lewis Kidd on the practice squad. The season was suspended for receiver Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown.
