What we learned as Steph, Klay combine for 61 points in Warriors' win vs. Net

After three losses on the road, the Warriors beat the Brooklyn Nets 124-120 at Chase Center on Saturday. This season has been difficult for the Warriors.

Their latest win brings them to 11-14 on the season. The Warriors have an NBA-high 21 clutch games this season after 12 straight.

Steph Curry scored 37 points and made six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, including his first to reach 3,500 in the regular season. Nobody else has 3,000 3-pointers.

Klay Thompson followed with 24 points, and rookie Brandin Podziemski scored 19 in his second straight start. the Cam Thomas scored 41 points, but Curry was too strong.

If turnovers are the Warriors' biggest issue, defending without fouling is close behind. The Warriors began Saturday with the third-most NBA fouls.

Second only to Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons. Golden State opponents have also made the third-most free throws this season.

Warriors wanted to break the Nets' narrative early. Due to only one foul in the first quarter, the Warriors led by seven points.
