Week 15 Wrap: James Cook looks like a fantasy league winner in incredible performance

James Cook's explosion helped the Bills beat the Cowboys despite Josh Allen's seven completions. Cook set career highs in carries (25) and rushing yards (179).

He had 104 rushing yards by halftime against a Dallas defense that hadn't allowed a 100-yarder all season after a nice touchdown catch.

Cook had 221 total yards to Dallas' 92 with the score 31-3 in the fourth quarter even though the Cowboys gave up the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs.

Despite losing short scores to Allen and Latavius Murray, Cook had a carry inside the 10 and dropped a potential TD pass two plays later, earning more goal-line work.

Though the drop and earlier tackle at the one-yard line hurt Cook's day, his expanded role under OC Joe Brady makes him a fantasy star.

Cook has averaged 24.1 fantasy points in his last four games despite not having a snap share above 55%. A top-five RB against the Chargers in Week 16.

Sunday didn't require Buffalo's passing game, so Allen threw 15 times. Stefon Diggs caught a nice one-handed pass in the rain, but he's averaged 41.4 yards in his last five games.
