Warriors star Stephen Curry snaps wild 268-game streak, doesn’t make a 3-pointer in win over Trail Blazer

After proving himself a top shooter, the Golden State Warriors star missed. Curry shot 0-of-8 from 3-point range in the Warriors' 118-114 win over Portland on Sunday.

Curry last shot 0-for-4 from 3-point range on November 8, 2018, against the Milwaukee Bucks. With 268 games, he had the NBA's longest 3-point streak.

Curry went 0-of-9 from 3-point range in Game 5 of the 2022 NBA Finals, which the Warriors won. After 2013, Curry missed only 10 3-pointers.

Curry was already the record-holder before this run. From 2014 to 2016, he made 157 3-pointers, breaking Kyle Korver's record of 127.

After Curry's streak ended, Damian Lillard leads with 101 3-pointers. Cameron Johnson, with 50 games, is closer.

Curry scored seven on 2-of-12 shooting Sunday night at Moda Center. 8 assists, 2 rebounds. Warriors 12-14 Klay Thompson scored 28 points. Wiggins scored 25 off the bench.

This season, Curry, 35, is 15th in the league with 29 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. He's making five 3-pointers per game this season, just shy of his career-high.
