Stephen Curry sinks Celtics with 3-point dagger in bounce back from rare game with no 3s
Curry returned to form Tuesday after a rare 3-pointerless game. The Warriors shooter forced overtime against Boston as Golden State recovered from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit.
Through a stepback three-pointer dagger, he sank the Celtics, resulting in a victory by a score of 132-126.
Golden State led 127-126 after Curry's sixth 3-pointer with 15 seconds left in overtime. Traffic-whirling layups were his first lead extension attempt.
Chris Paul rebounded and kicked it to Curry, who was open on the wing beyond the 3-point line.
Curry scored 33 points, six assists, and three rebounds to lead all scorers. He shot 6 of 11 from 3-point range and 11 of 21 from the field.
He caused most of his damage after his fifth foul midway through the third quarter. He had 13 points at the time and scored 20 more without fouling in the fourth quarter and overtime.
