People have an undeniable fondness for condiments. 

On sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, and even pizza, we slather on our preferred condiments.  

Since condiments tend to increase a dish's calorie, sugar, and fat content, they have a bad reputation among dieters. 

However, there is one condiment that we wish to focus on more closely: mustard.
