Patriots' NFL-record streak is in serious danger of ending in 2023
The New England Patriots have been one of the NFL's greatest teams at forcing and avoiding turnovers for most of the 21st century.
Patriots have had a positive turnover differential without Tom Brady for two years. Despite terrible offences, they were plus-3 in 2020, plus-7 in 2021, and plus-7 in 2022.
ESPN's Mike Reiss reports that the Patriots have had a positive turnover differential for 17 seasons, the longest record since the NFL/AFL merger in 1970.
With only three games remaining in their 2023 season, the Patriots' minus-8 turnover differential puts this streak in grave risk of coming to an end.
The Patriots' chances of improving their turnover differential appear slim. Just take a quick look at their upcoming schedule.
Due to this, it is possible that the Patriots may see yet another lengthy record streak from the dynasty era that will come to an end during this season.
