Deebo joins ‘crazy' NFL receiver company with rare TD outburst

Deebo Samuel caught four passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns in San Francisco's 45-29 win over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.

The 49ers' fifth-year wideout became the 12th NFL wide receiver to score seven touchdowns in three games in the beatdown.

Samuel expressed surprise on the "Up & Adams Show" with Kay Adams on Tuesday, surprised by his inclusion on a Pro Football Hall of Fame list.

"That's a lot of good company," Samuel told Adams. "That's insane. Such things were unknown to me. Looking at the names on the list, that's crazy company.”

Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Sterling Sharpe, Doug Baldwin, Harold Jackson, Dwayne Bow, Carl Pickens, Roy Green, Drew Bennett, and Wes Chandler joined Samuel.

Samuel had five touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks between Weeks 13 and 14, including two against the Cardinals in Week 15.

What's crazy is that we watched films all week on what we can do', Samuel told Adams. I said, "It's wide open in practice, so in the game," when Kyle Shanahan put this play in.
