Chiefs place Skyy Moore on injured reserve

After the win over New England on Sunday, head coach Andy Reid said that Moore had to leave the game because his knee was swollen.

Moore has caught 21 passes this season, going for 244 yards and a touchdown. He has played in 14 games. He ran three times for 23 yards.

If Kansas City makes it far enough in the playoffs, Moore would be able to come back. Moore had played less in the last few games, though.

His only targets in the last three weeks were on Sunday. On December 3, against Green Bay, he made a 5-yard catch.

Moore played limited snaps in Sunday's 27-17 win in New England due to knee swelling, according to Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

In his time on the field, Moore again fumbled the ball after a catch, but a defensive holding penalty gave Kansas City the ball back.

Moore caught only 21 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown, giving other wide receivers playing time.
