Bulls' Torrey Craig to miss 8-10 weeks with foot injury

The team announced Tuesday that veteran forward Torrey Craig will miss 8-10 weeks with "an acute right plantar fascia sprain.

Craig, who turned 33 on Tuesday, will be immobilised for four weeks and rehabilitated for four to six weeks.

The injury occurred during Saturday's loss to the Miami Heat, when Craig again proved his worth to the rotation

The defence and communication that attracted him to management were complemented by his four 3-pointers and season-high 16 points.

Craig has averaged 6.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.9 offensive rebounds in 27 games with seven starts this season.

Craig Long's length and anticipation on offensive rebounds have earned him a reputation for giving his team extra possessions.

He wants to win and defend. End of story. Every match is a prideful moment. Double-teaming never appeals to him
