Bulls' Billy Donovan wants consistent aggressiveness from Patrick Williams

Aggression decides his fate. Saturday was more aggressive than Thursday night. Donovan said he must do that consistently. 'He must own that.

Williams was fouled again at 10:28 of the first quarter after Kyle Lowry baited him into an offensive push.

Torrey Craig replaced Williams 17 seconds later. It was expected that Williams would disappear for the night after such a disappointing start.

Instead, Williams scored 25 points on 8-for-10 shooting for the season. He performed beyond made and missed shots.

Williams contributed seven rebounds, four assists, and intentional offense. Making simple plays and reads was discussed.

Williams: That made the game easier for me or whoever was in that slot, corner. This made defensive closeouts farther and reads easier.

Williams can impact games regardless of his shot, as coach Billy Donovan has always said. You don't want to play alongside younger players with huge differences.
