3 observations after Sixers' winning streak ends at six with narrow loss to Bull

The Bulls won 108-104 at Wells Fargo Center to improve to 11-17. The Sixers are 18-8 after their six-game win streak.

Joel Embiid kept his streaks. Embiid has scored at least 30 points in 12 straight games and 30 and 10 in 11 straight with 40 and 14 rebounds Monday.

Chicago's top scorers were Coby White (24 points) and Nikola Vucevic (23). Sickness sidelined Sixers forward Marcus Morris Sr. The Bulls lost Zach LaVine and Torrey Craig.

He wasn't at his best initially. The Sixers' first play saw Embiid miss a lefty layup, a pull-up jumper, and his first foul shot.

The Sixers started well overall. Sixers guarded the perimeter and Chicago started 1 for 7 from the floor. They communicated well on switches.

Once he found his groove, Embiid had a huge impact. His second foul on Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic came with 8:19 left in the first quarter.

Late in the first, the Sixers lost some energy and White challenged their defense with impressive three-level scoring, testing the team more than it had against bottom-of-the-standings opponents.
